In the 1939 register his widowed mother was at Malting End, Dalham with Alice N. WEBB, married, possibly his sister in law. In Q3-1940 (Sevenoaks, Kent 2A:3975) he married Amelia Winifred WINTER (later living in Bury St Edmunds) |
His Royal Artillery casualty card gives him as Dalham born and domiciled. His death was due to heat stroke (natural causes) at Ranchi, India
